Sunday 31st May - Day 2

This morning we woke at varying times due to our out-of-sync body clocks and enjoyed a hotel breakfast. The chocolate cocoa balls, hot chocolate and eggs were a big hit amongst the team. Some of the team experimented with the local language using the advanced phrases of; 'morgan' and 'danke'
After a team briefing we packed our gear and drove to the course past the colourful rhinoceroses (with which we are planning to take photos.) The course planned was a play on the white water to get comfortable with the boily rapids.
Second run down a major catastrophe occurred - MIRIAM BROKE HER GLASSES!
…also Emily dislocated her shoulder.
Such such such bad bad luck. While going down the first drop Em did a massive forward stroke, backflipped, dry rolled and was pinned to the wall from which position she cart wheeled onto the bank.
While the above description is perhaps a little enhanced for entertainment value, she was simply doing the same moves on the water that we were all doing and that she had done many times. In all seriousness em's shoulder was dislocated from her body. After laying on the side of the bank in extreme agony for half an hour, the ambulance and doctor came and moved her shoulder back in place. She was then taken to hospital to get it checked out and the rest of the team finished their session. Currently Em is feeling 'okay' and while it looks like her paddling is over for the tour, we are still not sure as to what will happen next.
We shuttled the team back to the hotel and got kebabs for lunch, going back for a session on the water in the afternoon. The afternoon's session was thirds with video and walkback. Collectively the paddling was a lot better than the previous day, and we spent more time in the actual water opposed to running into the walls.
For dinner we walked into town and ate at an Italian restaurant where Joey paraded in Antra's scarf. On the way home Jaxon, Seb and Joey raced Myriam back to the hotel using their supposed 'short-cut' and even more dubious claims of 'superior Augsburg orientation' to beat Myriam - 'the cheat.'
From Antra and ????

Editors note : Not many photo's from Day 2 - spent a few hours at the hospital
