Hay today was good, it started with a morning paddle to the 3rd bridge and back. While we were paddling Geoff took his usual trip to Tesco to do the shopping for the day and get supplies.

Our session today was in the afternoon between 3-4pm so we did not have to leave for the course until after lunch at 1:30pm. Lunch was our usual; rolls, meat and salad, followed by yoghurt

We left for the course at about 1:30 for our session at 3:00 which was to be short courses. Ashleigh was not paddling today because she hurt her shoulder in yesterday's session. Ash had a session with the Physio just be fore lunch and will need to rest and strap her shoulder for paddling.

The session turned out to have a bit of carnage with boats being Brocken and Tash looking like she had been mugged on the street thanks to her paddle (she let go of her paddle and it smacked her in the face giving her a black eye and a cut nose and cut above the eye) so in all it was a good day over all.

Geoff went to the team leaders meeting later in the afternoon and got all the information about the race, and the preliminary startlist.
