Today began for most of us arising from the refreshing cool of the boatshed from on top of a raft. The temperature here is blistering and finding a way to combat the heat is a challenge. Despite the heat the weather is awesome. After breakfast we made the trip to Roudnice for the day. We did two sessions during the day, the first session included quarter length runs and teams runs and the second session was a challenging tech session. Most people would agree that this is a great site for the competition. Between sessions some people went into the town and some people slept next to the river, between training and the heat everyone is getting slightly worn down. We came back to the boathouse in Troja where we had dinner consisting of vegetable soup, and either goulash or beef medallions followed by apple strudel for desert. After dinner we had a video review session and then most people called it quits and went to bed.
