Good morning,
Today we awoke to our first European breakfast of meat, bread rolls, cearal and jam filled doughnuts. Then we decided how we were going to go and find Geoff who we left on the side of the road the previous night.
As Sam and Ben Jones headed off to the Citoren Service station at Plzen 80 kilometers to get Geoff and the car, the rest of the team did a light run and stretching session.
At around 1pm Geoff and more importantly our boats arrived and we did our first session just playing and learning the course trying not to roll in the filthy water. After lunch a more structured session on the course was achieved by splitting into two groups and doing short 4-8 gate courses. We were off the water around 6.30 and headed back to our rooms for our showers and soaped up to remove the foul water.
Dinner at around 7.30 was chicken breast with cheese sauce. We later saw the waiter that served us dinner swimming in the river…. Was it his first bath of the day?
