Today began with an early morning run and stretching followed by the breakfast at the hotel. Once breakfast was finished the vans were packed and we began the trip to Ceske Budejovice. On the way to Ceske we drove through the prostitute forest, where truckers frequently stop, and stopped at Tesco in Prague for lunch. We finished the drive, unloaded the bags at the hotel and then went straight to the course for a session. The course is pretty nice, quite small; however, it has a very fast chute at the bottom which is awesome to paddle. The course is quite a lot of fun, small features everywhere with good eddies and potential for winger upstreams. After the session we went to a restaurant in town for dinner where people had a mixture of risotto, pizza, lasagne and steak. It was a good feed that finished off the day as we returned to the hotel to wind up for sleep time.
