Today started with a delightful breakfast courtesy of the Pension 1813 Hotel. Shortly after, we headed to the Leipzig white water slalom course to do thirds. Some paddlers came to grief on the course. At the end of the session, we spent time doing tricks while going down the last drop/ weir. We were grateful to find lunch waiting for us when we had finished the session, provided by the stadium café.

Later in the afternoon, we proceeded onto the flat water for a recovery cruise, followed by thirty sprints. Ben Jones used a demo boat of Thomas Schmidt's design, and left it next to the racks, which he was shortly going to place it in. Fabien Dorfler was looking after the boat on behalf of Tommy, and when he saw the boat on the ground was not happy. He abused Sam saying 'What is this? It is ****** dirty and its ****** wet!' Sam then offered for Ben to dry and clean the boat that was clean already. Dofler then replied with 'DO IT! JUST DO IT!' in an angry manner.

That night we traveled into the main part of Leipzig, split up, and had a look around.
