We had an early breakfast at 7 this morning to get ready for the river trip. We got going and drove to Trnovo to pick up the play boats for the trip. Once the boats were loaded we winded our way up to the get in point. After half an hour the coaches came back from the car shuttle we were ready to go. Richie managed to lose his drain plug even before we began. After some rolls and cartwheels we took off in two groups. After a slow start the rapids picked up towards the end of the run into the slalom course. About half way down we found a big jump rock in the middle of the river. After lots of rock splats we made it to the end. We then made the long walk back up to the suspension bridge for lunch. After a long wait on the grass we were all burnt. Eventually we found Geoff in the bar a bit burnt after some sun baking of his own. Geoff provided us with the keys so we could finally eat some lunch. Ros generously cut up a huge watermelon. After many complaints of her cutting style, Ros exclaimed: "Dammit! I know how to cut a pineapple".
