Today was a traveling day from Ljubljana, Slovenia to Ivrea Italy, about 6 hours in the car. So it was up at 6:30am for an early breakfast at 7:00. Departure time from the University Hostel accommodation was scheduled for 8:00am. We nearly made it with a departure at 8:20 and we were on the road. We head off from Ljubljana to Trieste, Wayne missed the turn-off, then onto to Venice, Milano and finally arriving at Ivrea, around 3pm.Not too many drama on the trip but we were amazed by the number of trucks that are on the road.

We booked into our new home for the next 5 nights, "Ostello Salesiano Eporediese", great accommodation; it has only just been renovated, large rooms with on-suite bathroom.

All booked in and off to the course to have a look, water level was good, the locals were friendly and only to happy to offer advice, an hour on the water was sufficient for a number of people to do damage to boats. The only issue we have is with the mosquitoes, they will eat you alive, need to break out the repellant.

Dinner was back at the accommodation at 8pm, a nice meal with a selection of courses. After dinner some of the crew had to do emergency repairs to their boats while the other retired for the eveing.

No internet connection at the accommodation so we are in search of an internet café to update the website.
