By Emmie and Richard
Once upon time in a far away
land, 10 princes, 3 princesses and 3 wicked
step nannies left the land down under to sit
on their gluteus maximus' for 24 consecutive
hours.
The Vic/Tassie crew; Kate, Phil M, Phil G,
Richard, Tom and Talis flew from Melbourne
Airport to Kuala Lumpar whilst the NSW Crew;
Emmie, Roz, Ben, Ian, Jono, Chris, Karl, Wayne
and Geoff flew from Sydney. We all arrived
in KL about 9:30pm on Saturday evening. A
couple of hours at the airport and we where
boarding for our final leg to Zurich, a long
haul of approximately 12 hours.
Zlatan was waiting at Zurich
airport for us when we arrived at 6:30 am
on Sunday morning. A couple of minor delays
at Zurich with picking up the cars but finally
we packed the vechiles and loaded the boats
we were on our way to Otez for our first overnight
stay. It has been really hot in Austria and
the snow melt has made the Otez river a raaging
torrent. Everyone was fairly tied and slept
on the way to Otez, except the drivers.
After some lunch at the accommodation
it was up to the Piburger See to do a flatwater
session. After a long hard training session
we went back to the Feelfree resort for our
evening meal. We needed to stay up until at
least 10pm (still day light) to help ward
off Jetlag. Everyone is well and happy and
settling well in their new home.
See you tomorrow for the next instalment,
do not forgrt to check out the pics.
